Married man beats up his “side chic” for attending a wedding without his permission

We are currently in the age where a married man would beat up his girlfriend for disobeying him even when it’s not his right to be obeyed entirely.

As seen in the recent case where a married man has been accused of brutally beating his “side chic” who he shares a child with.

His name is revealed to be Obiechina Egbuonu who allegedly attacked Grateful Uche Ofoma on December 28 for attending a friend’s wedding in Owerri without his consent.

Grateful Ofoma lives in Enugu with the son she shares with Obiechina. She reportedly had the child for Obiechima after he allegedly hid the fact that he’s married from her.

For the Christmas festivities, Grateful traveled to her maternal home in Mbaise. From there, she then went for her former secondary school classmate’s wedding in Owerri.

When Obiechina found out, he allegedly travelled from Aba where he lives with his wife and kids, to Owerri to confront his “side chic”.

The confrontation is said to have turned violent as Obiechima allegedly physically attacked Grateful, leaving her with injuries on her body as seen in graphic photos shared online.

According to a source: “Ofoma lives in Enugu but traveled to her maternal home for Christmas in Mbaise. She then decided to attend her secondary school classmate’s wedding in Owerri. And because she didn’t seek his consent before going, he traveled all the way from Aba to Owerri, just to beat her up.

“Nobody wants to do anything not even her mother because she’s scared that he won’t help them again. First, he deceived her that he wasn’t married and got her pregnant. Then he rented an apartment for her and started controlling her move, never allowing her to go out and mingle with friends.”

“I don’t want her to back to this situation neither does she want to go back but with the entire situation that she’s in she might end up going back.”
