Saint-Etienne fans took to violence last night, in the pitch to throw flares after a defeat against Auxerre relegated them from Ligue 1 last night. ⚠️

The fans stormed the pitch after Auxerre won 5-4 on penalties to win promotion.

Étienne were relegated to second tier of French football for the first time in nearly two decades.
